Thank you to all of our “
Friends of the Wave” who were able to come out and support our Grand Opening. We had over 400 guests throughout the event!

YogurtWave Grand Opening
Both
Clif Miller with his acoustic classic rock tunes and
Danny Maika our Ukulele GURU playing his awesome island vibe rocked the place. A special appearance by our resident fire dancer
Chris Drilling stunned the crowd with his ultra fast, precision fire dancing – the art of Poi. (This is not cute fire-wand dancing in a grass skirt – this an EXTREME use of intense flaming Kevlar spheres on steel chains spinning like nunchuks) His routine left our many world class extreme sport athletes and racers with their jaws on the floor. Our mural artist,
Drew Brophy was also present, signing his artwork and chatting with the guests.

Inside YogurtWave
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County & Inland Empire and the Surfrider Foundation of Newport Beach had their booths here as well. Make-A-Wish reported several “
Friends of the Wave” had actually signed up as volunteers here – thanks so much for that too!! Some local companies stepped up and donated prizes for us to raffle off to lucky winners. Everyone enjoyed our many tantalizing flavors of frozen yogurt and smoothies, coffee and delectable bakery samples so much that they all left with full bellies and silly grins.
